Square Pub Table
My husband and I were recently invited over to a friends house for a house warming dinner. Our friends had purchased a new square pub table a week before for their new home. My girlfriend had told me about the table and how much she loved it, but I always thought that the height of the tables were impracticable, especially with children.

At first look, this table was stunning, it is a dark
wood finish and sits eight. I absolutely loved it. I was surprised that the
size of the table did not dwarf the room, in fact, it gave the room the appearance
of being larger.
Even though the table was beautiful and I was very envious of our friends,
I was still a little bit apprehensive about our toddler sitting there during
the meal. Surprising to me, the novelty of the table being much higher than
the average dining table made my toddler enjoy the meal even more. She had
mentioned how it made her feel like she was eating at a restaurant. That meal
was the first in a very long time that my husband and I were both able to
sit together and eat our meal and enjoy the company of our family and friends.
On the ride home, I convinced my husband that we should purchase a square
pub table for our home as well. Once I explained that they are not any more
pricey than a typical dining room table, he was sold.
I began my search and was pleasantly surprised how many different styles and types of square pub tables there were. I finally made my choice and my family and I have been enjoying our meals together on it ever since.
