Rectangular Pub Table
After browsing the Internet and thumbing through local furniture store circulars, I had decided that the most practical table to purchase for my home would have to be rectangular. With a growing family and an abundance of friends, it only made sense. I needed more seating and you can fit more people at a rectangular shaped table than you can a round or square shaped one.

When I walked into the furniture store, I made my way
straight to the dining room tables. I was surprised at the selection they
had. I have to admit though, I wasn't impressed with any of the tables that
I saw. Do not get me wrong, there were some beautiful tables on display, just
not what I was looking for. The dining table I had before was a nice farm
house style with plenty of seating and I did not want to down grade from there.
While I was walking through, looking at the merchandise, a sales clerk approached me. She asked me what I was looking for, after explaining my needs to her, she asked me how I felt about something a little different but would allow me to have ample seating.
The clerk took me over toward the bar and pub tables. As we walked over, I explained that these types of tables would probably not be very practical for what I needed. She pointed out a beautiful rectangular pub table. At first glance, I loved the table but was still a little apprehensive. The height of the table was not what I was used to, but the style and aver all look to it was exactly what I wanted.
After a quick call to my husband who was working at the time, I was sold. That sales clerk really knew what she was doing. I purchased this rectangular pub table several months ago and my family has enjoyed many meals on it ever since.
